Brand protection

Verified means verified.

LinkCode protects reserved names and issues public verification only after evidence is reviewed. A marketing or affiliate relationship never creates a verification badge.

1. Establish control

An organization begins with its legal and public identity, then proves control of an official domain through a time-limited DNS or hosted-file challenge.

2. Support the claim

Business, trademark or delegation evidence is stored privately. It is never served from a public bucket or returned by the public verification API.

3. Independent review

Claims remain pending until an authorized reviewer makes a recorded decision. Conflicts, disputes and higher-risk claims require escalation rather than automatic approval.

4. Public proof

An active certification has a unique public record with its organization name, type, issue date and expiry. Suspended, revoked or expired records are never presented as active.
